It’s your Cap’n kid speaking! What rhymes with shoes and sometimes give you the blues?
That’s Right! It’s time for the Cashews! Wait…that doesn’t really rhyme…. How about… News!
Heyy look! the website is back to normal! That’s….something. Well what I Wanted to talk about today is a little different from the usual news updates. Because well… there’s not much to talk about mostly just….waiting.

Behold! The Localscriptman Writing map thingy!!!
If you don’t know who LOCALSCRIPTMAn is he’s a writing counselor who also has a (Really useful) youtuub channel with lots of really good writing info. Anyway this thing is a Map he made which is supposed to help writers figure out their character’s core belief and how it affects them and. This Core belief is basically the center of their entire character Arc. Almost always a coping mechanism formed from some sort of childhood trauma. *COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH* I recently decided to use it to get all the most important part of the Characters in an easily accessible form. If you plan to write a story full of Character Arcs and Drama this should help you stay on track!
I’m not gonna show any of Mine because…
Spoilers

This is another part of the map, And probably the most important, (right behind the first one of course) it basically just clearly outlines a character arc, like, its a character arc for dummies. (ME)
The Main thing I like about these is that they are a good test for your character. If You’re able to fill these 2 documents your character is figured out and all you have to do now is execute. It’s great for catching yourself when you keep dancing around a character and you just want to figure out if you’ve got it or not.
Of course this only applies to non-static characters but I digress.

This one’s just for spice.
I actually don’t really know all those weird little intricate things about my characters, usually they just sprout as the story comes along. The cool thing about knowing them on a deeper level is that you always know what a character would do or say in a given situation.
So maybe Romeo is gonna like Mario Kart down the road idontknow lmao. What I DO know is that her favorite movie is probably REDLINE.
Ya know, this could’ve been a newsletter post..hmmmmmm…..
whoops! Almost forgot heres a link to all the resources Ta Da!

BOO!
hOLY SHIT THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED THANK YOU
No problem, now go out there and WRITE!
